I found a poem mom wrote, tucked away in her bible. She titled it "Ship for the Lord." I wanted to share it with you all:


Ship for the Lord


I am a stalwart ship
I sail upon the Master's seas


I am a stalwart ship
The blood of Christ is an emblem upon my bow


I am a stalwart ship
In the turbulence of life's storms
The Holy Spirit is my rudder


I am a stalwart ship
Yielding to His command


I am a stalwart ship
Through rough or calm waters
I glide on pure faith and submission to Him


This journey He set me upon has not been easy
And yet still He has continually lead and blessed me


I am a stalwart ship
Crafted by my Master


Unafraid of seas unknown
Because He is with me


I am a stalwart ship resting in God's grace


I am a stalwart ship who agrees with Paul:


"To live is Christ, and to die is gain."


I will embrace my Maker. - PJF
