On July 5th we climbed Mt. Elbert, tallest mountain in the Rockies, and the second highest mountain in the continental United States. It took us 10 hours and 49 minutes; Elevation gain of 5,051; 13.4 miles round trip and all in the honor of Mom and her fight for life. On May 14th 2015 you posted on facebook a photo that read "The harder the Climb, the better the view" You said it reminded you of Serg and Tash and our love for hiking, climbing and seeking nature. Blessings on your tenth anniversary! Love, Pat Fernandez
Every step we made was in honor of you. We could not have done it without you.

Dad shared how you panicked when you went up Pikes Peak in the AMC Hornet Hatchback and came down in the local train because you had vertigo and were crying to to be left alone at over 14,000 ft above sea level. We you took your beautiful spirit to conquer one of the highest peaks. We love you so much Mom and think of you all the time. You would have loved the beautiful views
